My family

We do not really have family tradtions in my house their are just annoying at times.
Their is one thing that my family does and that is they pass down a sewing machine to the females in our family: which right now belons to my mother, and since I am not a girl it will be passed down to my cousin. To me it seems pointless because I do not know what they pass it down for and they still won't tell me when I ask them now.
